Grade 8-Connect Bringing Faith To life-It’s where faith and life come together! Connect! Bringing Faith to Life is 3-year interactive program that presents the core teachings of the Catholic faith to young people (sixth, seventh, and eighth graders) in a way that helps them connect learning with living.

Special, unique, and relevant Life Issue lessons help young people  navigate life through the lens of faith.

Filled with vibrant, active learning!
Active and engaging lessons encourage honest reflection and meaning making. Using an accompaniment model of forming young people in the faith, this program meets them where they are and makes important, relevant connections that bring faith to life! Dive deeper into faith! Each year of the program explores  the four doctrinal pillars of the Catholic faith (The Creed, Liturgy and Sacraments, Christian Morality and Justice, and Prayer). Within this framework, the program also offers chapters that are dedicated to a solid understanding and use of the Bible. At this level, children will be presented with the following beliefs and practices and at the conclusion of this level demonstrate a knowledge of these beliefs and an understanding of how these practices are integral to living out the Catholic faith in a manner appropriate for their age and ability.  The curriculum outcomes are categorized within the fundamental tasks of catechesis: helping to know, to celebrate and to contemplate the mystery of Christ. (GDC85-87; NDC pp.59-63) key Concepts-1) Knowledge of the Faith, 2)Liturgical Education, 3)Moral Formation, 4) Teaching to Pray 5)education for community Life, and 6)Missionary initiation.
