GIFT GRADE 2, Year One Only

This is registration for the online, self-paced GIFT ("Growing in Faith Together") program. Once your registration is processed in our office, we will send you the program login information. You will receive this information before our first in-house meeting.

Each
family in addition to the online chapter studies are expected to attend Family Session offered monthly. These meetings are part of the GIFT
program. Our session begins with 10am Mass followed by a meeting in the
Parish Hall on the following Dates:

September
27, 2026, October 18, 2026, November 15, 2026, December 13, 2026, January 24,
2027, February 21, 2027,

March 21,2027, April 18, 2027, May 16, 2027.  

Online
program chapter review completion date is May 09, 2027.

This program is not offered during a sacramental year. In person classes are required for 2nd and 9th grade with the exception of 2nd grade students entering their first year of Religious Education.

Grade 2 Discovery- St. Mary's Press, is an exciting program designed to help children fully engage in the process of discovering and growing in the richness of their Catholic faith, making deep faith a central part of their everyday lives. The Catholic Children's Bible is the core text of this program promoting biblical literacy and knowledge of key Scripture stories throughout Old and New Testament. At the conclusion of this level your child will demonstrate a knowledge of these beliefs and have an understanding of faith appropriate for their age and ability.  The following curriculum guidelines are categorized within the "fundamental task of Catechesis : helping to know, to celebrate and to contemplate the mystery of Christ." (GDC85-87; NDC pp. 59-63)
